So The Drafia did a Flex raid last night!
So much fun! We managed to down the first two bosses fairly easily, then spent the last part gradually getting closer to a kill on Norushen (but not quite getting there!)
We didn't quite have everyone with us that expressed an interest as there are still log on queues at peak times on Draenor with it being so close to the patch. Took a few guildies close to an hour to get on again last night.
However, we soon set off with a respectable 15 of us!
As usual, I got caught up in the moment and completely forgot to take screenshots until near the end xD
The hunter got very spoiled with a mix of drop loot and bonus rolls! She got http://www.wowhead.com/item=104660, http://www.wowhead.com/item=104663 and http://www.wowhead.com/item=104682!
So I have a basic idea of the fight now and can hopefully get our normal group back up and running, after our raid leader and main healer decided they wished to raid elsewhere with a better geared group for 5.4.
We also have another flex run up for the guild on Saturday either for alts or for people who couldn't make last night :)
With regards to the Timeless Isle BoA gear, I have pretty much fully geared all my level 90 alts, and have now started sending gear to the alts between 80 and 90!
In Pet Battle news, finally beat Major Payne! (With the awesome assistance of Mr Buv, who is so much better at the pet battling than me, I just want to collect all the shinies!)
So now, the Cataclysm trainers await! But I have far too much else to do xD
So the Warlock is now 90, and already geared enough to get into Mogu'shan Vaults thanks to a few lucky drops from Oondasta and 458 PvP gear from my tailor! She is my ninth character to reach level 90 :)
This was largely achieved from a determination to beat a friend who I had been levelling with to 90, which was hard enough as he was playing a Pandaren Monk with the XP daily quest! This is why I've been a bit quiet on the blog front ^^
Also as the patch draws nearer, I'm trying to help my guild get ready for what 5.4 brings and looking into ramping up recruitment, same old same old, tho we are on the look out for any small guilds who have been struggling with recruitment to merge with us, fresh blood etc etc.
I've also continued pet battling wtih a fair bit of my 85 - 90 XP on the lock being from that! My level 25s are growing in number nicely though I still haven't managed to beat Major Payne! Need to focus on levelling an elemental next I think.
Keeping it short for today, but am back in the saddle as they say!
It is that time of the week again where people inevitably rage that they can't log in, even if the delay is only slight!
I used the time to catch up on some of the blogs I read, got a little bit further on Borderlands 2 (I'm so bad at that game x) ), caught up on Twitter and replied to some guild forums topics, I even *gulp* went outside! (However it was hot, so I came back in again ^^)
In game news, my #minimilestones that I set myself yesterday went woefully unachieved as I got distracted by pet battles!
I did log the priest on in Uldum where she is currently questing and proceeded to kill hyenas, then a Tol'Vir Scarab crossed my path. It was level 23 and only Common quality but I figured I would give it a shot with my level 20 Clefthoof Runt Kev (it is named after a very good friend who gave me a flawless battletsone to upgrade said pet from Poor quality to Rare :D)
I managed to actually win the battle and capture the pet, meaning I was even close to getting a pet to 25!
The rest of the day was then spent catching pets in Northrend getting me the Northrend Tamer achievement and levelling pets gradually closer.
In the end I had caught a rare level 22 Mac Frog in Uldum and used this to battle my way to 25.
Now I can get on with collecting more pets :D
Also last night I led a fun run to ICC 25 heroic with my guild! A group of 9 of us returned and showed the Lich King that we still weren't to be messed with!
Much fun was had and achievements were got, as well as shards for our resident warrior who is on the Shadowmourne questline!
